These Terms of Use govern your use of The Payments Corner ("TPC"), a publication operated by The Payments Corner LLC. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the site.

1. Editorial nature

TPC publishes editorial analysis on payments infrastructure, embedded finance, banking technology, AI, and modern credit. Content is for informational purposes. See the Disclosures page for the full framing on investment advice, fiduciary status, and author positions.

2. Acceptable use

You may read, link to, and quote short excerpts of TPC content with attribution. You may not:

  • Scrape the site at volume or run automated systems that degrade availability for other readers.
  • Reproduce full briefings, research papers, or audio productions without written permission. See Copyright & DMCA for details.
  • Use the site to violate applicable law.
  • Share your sign-in credentials with others or attempt to access tier-gated content you have not subscribed to.

3. Accounts and authentication

TPC uses a passwordless sign-in flow tied to your email address and your active subscription state. You are responsible for safeguarding access to the inbox the sign-in code is sent to. Sessions persist for thirty days.

4. Subscriptions

Newsletter subscriptions are managed by TPC. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter footer or by submitting a request to contact@thepaymentscorner.com. Tier-gated content requires an active subscription at the relevant tier.

5. Intellectual property

All TPC editorial content, audio, video, infographics, brand marks, and code are the copyrighted property of The Payments Corner LLC. See Copyright & DMCA for permitted use, DMCA notice procedures, and the designated agent.

6. Third-party content

Articles may quote, link to, or embed third-party content (e.g., YouTube videos, regulatory filings). TPC is not responsible for third-party content or its accuracy.

7. No warranty

TPC is provided "as is". Analysis reflects judgment at the time of publication and may be revised without notice. TPC makes no warranty that the site will be available without interruption or that content will be error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TPC LLC, its members, and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site. Direct damages are capped at the amount you paid TPC in the prior twelve months, which is zero unless a paid tier is active.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify TPC for claims arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of third-party rights.

10. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

11. Changes to these terms

TPC may update these Terms when materially changed. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
